New Website Is Live

The new Twin Lakes Association website went live at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 11. We launched without fanfare because some kinks needed to be worked out and several pages were not ready for prime time. Most of that has been addressed. However, parts of the site remain under construction and we are certain to find more kinks. So please be patient. This will be a work in progress for a while. In fact, we may never be done because we’d like to keep the information on the site relevant and fresh. Your ideas are welcome. Reply to this email with any suggestions.

In the meantime, take a tour of the new site. It is chock full of photos, including some from the deep archives (find those by clicking on “artifacts” in the history section of the About Us page). You will find this year’s photo contest winners on the home page, and many of the contest entries are sprinkled throughout the site.

With the town swap shop out of commission for the time being, we thought it would be helpful to create a virtual swap shop on the site. Find that on the The Exchange page, which is also home to lost and found. If you have anything of value to sell or give away this is place to do it. Please read the guidelines first.

As in the recent past, you can pay dues and donate additional money for weed control via PayPal. But it should be easier now. There is a button for each on the home page. You can also easily submit your updated membership application online. For those who prefer writing checks and mailing in forms, that remains an option.

Finally, under the News page you will find the most recent meeting minutes, aquatic reports and, of course, an archive of newsletters dating to the start of the 2020 summer season. Happy clicking!
